What would you march for?

I wouldn't need a cause, I'm inspired by fun! I think it would be fun to march in a marching band just for the joy of it. Hearing and feeling the drum beating along with the other instruments,  watching the baton twirlers, wearing those cute little matching outfits, the whole energy of it seems like it would be fun.

What's the best thing about living in this era?

I love the technology! I think its almost telepathic they way we are able to call or text  someone instantly as we are thinking of them. I also love that I am able to communicate with people all over the world through the internet. I never would have dreamed this would be possible when I was a child.

I don't take anything for granted anymore. I appreciate everything in my life. I appreciate the electricity that allows me to live in comfort. I appreciate clean running water that gets hot or cold. I appreciate the rain and the sunshine. I appreciate the traffic because it gives me time to just relax (or put my mascara on like this morning). I appreciate the bad news I see on television because it makes me realize how fortunate I really am. I appreciate my family and my friends.

What is the biggest project you've taken on?

At the time it seemed like a huge project - training for a 26.2 mile marathon and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It seemed huge to me because my longest run was 5 miles. I felt incredibly empowered afterwards. I still do.

What's the fiercest storm you've weathered?

I live in South Florida so I have experienced several hurricanes. I was without electricity for 10 days. Our shed in the backyard was destoyed and all the contents were scattered all over the neighborhood but I can't really complain after seeing what happened in New Orleans, Bilouxi, Pass Christian.
